We were introduced by a mutual friend, and on our way to school, Jessa didn't have a ride and asked if she could hop on my motorcycle to campus. As we were riding, she tried to make casual small talk by asking me if I actually had a driver's license—which was funny, cute, and slightly concerning for someone riding pillion! That unexpected ride together sparked our very first conversation.

We spent our first real date exploring Dumaguete's Rizal Boulevard, taking in the sea breeze and getting lost in hours of great conversation. No awkward pauses or rushing anywhere—just pure quality time together, sharing lots of laughs and genuinely getting to know one another.

By this point, riding over to visit Jessa every single night at their place in Sibulan had become my favorite daily routine. On October 8, 2019, we decided to make things official between us. Nothing complicated or overdone—just a simple, heartfelt moment that will always be deeply special to me.

Our very first trip together as a couple! We spent the whole weekend at a resort, completely unwinding—swimming in the pool, having delicious food, and just soaking up relaxed, uninterrupted time with each other.

For our 6th year anniversary, we went right back to the resort where we had our very first vacation together. Secretly, I coordinated with the resort team for a romantic setup during dinner. Right in the middle of our dinner date, I pulled off the surprise, brought out the ring and flowers, and officially asked her to marry me. She said YES!
